What started as a dental laboratory in 2005 has grown into one of Accra's most trusted integrated healthcare clinics — serving patients across four African countries.
How we got here
Advocate Healthcare was founded by a dentist who saw that patients and practitioners in Ghana were being underserved — both in the quality of dental work available and in the overall healthcare experience on offer.
Starting with a dental laboratory, the vision grew steadily: first across borders, then into a full medical and dental clinic at Lakeside Estates. Today, the practice runs five departments under one roof, with ambitions to become a full hospital.
Every decision along the way has been guided by the same belief — that great healthcare should be accessible, professional, and deeply human.
The Beginning
A dentist identifies a gap in Ghana's dental laboratory market and establishes M&B Dental Laboratory in Accra.
Expanding Across Africa
The laboratory grows beyond Ghana, delivering high-quality dental prostheses to practitioners in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Kenya.
A Full Healthcare Clinic
A medical and dental clinic opens at Lakeside Estates, Ashaley Botwe — adding an in-house medical laboratory and a pharmacy with delivery.
Growing Towards a Hospital
Plans are underway to expand into a full-service hospital with obstetrics, paediatrics, and specialist departments.
